Vlad is a Software Engineering Manager with experience in building complex, innovative solutions for clients across multiple industries.

He graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science in Bucharest and began his career as a Software Engineer. In his early years, he focused on hands-on development, gaining a deep understanding of how systems work under the hood and building the practical foundation essential to strong engineering. Later, at Deloitte, his role evolved from writing code to enabling teams—creating the environment, processes, and alignment that help Software Engineers operate at their full potential.

Throughout his career, Vlad has worked in several industries (banking, e-commerce, IT infrastructure, and travel), both as a consultant and within product organizations. He currently leads the Identity and Access Management Engineering team at BKNG, where he is responsible for building and maintaining the centralized Access Management platform used across multiple brands within the Booking Holdings portfolio.
